MOST MEMORABLE SOCCER EXPERIENCE? Training and living with the United States Under-17 National team in San Antonio for almost a week during my freshman year of high school. (My school principal didn't want to know what I was doing, wanting to believe I was missing school because I was sick.)
THE HARDEST PART OF BEING CAPTAIN OF THE UIS TEAM? Taking the responsibility of having to produce day in and day out...to lead by example.
WHAT PUTS THE MOST PRESSURE ON YOU AS FAR AS PLAYING GOES? My first touch. If the first touch is good, then usually everything flows... confidence wise.
MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF SOCCER YOUNG PLAYERS SHOULD WORK ON? Anticipation...think of plays before they happen. The quicker the thought process, the better the player will be. I was told that a lot of soccer players are great athletes, but the really great ones are smart players.
