Background: Piper Lee has completed his fourth and final year  in the NAIA in the fall of 2000, graduating in May of 2001. Piper Lee has been to the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Tournament all four years he has been at UIS. In 1999 Piper Lee was named the NAIA Great Lakes Region Player of the Week twice and was also named to the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Tournament All Tournament Team as a forward, the only American named as a forward and only one of three Americans named to the 14 member team. UIS has been in the quarterfinal, semifinal or final the past three years of the NAIA nationals.
