Last Updated 6/27/00 This is the home page of Piper Lee, San Antonio ,Boerne, and Comfort, Texas. Piper Lee is a student at the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) and is a member of the UIS men's NAIA soccer team which finished 2nd in the nation in 1998 with a record of 20-7-1 and was ranked pre-season at #1 and finished the season in the last coach's poll at #11. In 1997 UIS finished the season ranked #1 in the coach's poll and went to the NAIA national championship where UIS was eliminated in pool play. Piper Lee has played soccer since he was 5 years old and was on the South Texas Youth Soccer Association's (STYSA) Olympic Development State team (ODP) each year he was elligible. Piper Lee won three TAPPS high school state soccer championships playing for Texas Military Institute (TMI), graduating in 1995 after having been named to the TAPPS All-State team 7 times and the TAPPS state tournament team each time TMI went to state. Piper Lee has played for club teams that include the San Antonio Northeast Youth Soccer Organization (NEYSO), Austin Longhorns and San Antonio Generals and has guested for teams such as the Austin Capitals. Piper has also played with the USISL. Lee has played for the USISL Austin Lone Stars and the UISL Tucson Amigos. Piper Lee was named the San Antonio Express-News All Greater Area Soccer Player of the Year in 1995 and was named to the Express-News All Greater Area team in 1994. Piper Lee hopes to persue a soccer career as a player in a league such as the MLS or abroad and later to coach a college team.
