A Slightly Different Approach

 
 This month were including both vintage photos and recent photos of "old" cars that have been restored and are currently racing in various vintage groups around the country.

 

Ed Spreen takes the checkered flag back in late 60s.  Spreen was one of the main competitors, along with Bob Hindson, against the Purple People Eaters of Overseas Motors out of Ft. Worth. Spreen won the SCCA C Sedan National Championship in 1970 at Road Atlanta. (Photo supplied by Ed Spreen)

Ed Spreen's son, Greg, operates a machine shop in Boerne, Texas, today and does quite a bit of race work, including Mini and Midget engines..
