Family Pictures
These three "tech inspectors from hell" are pictured right after one of Hutchinson's famous storms in the mid "70s. They are (l to r) Paul Caffrey, Mt. Hope, KS; Steve Malcom, Andover, KS, and James Lee, Ponca City, OK. Steve drove my Porsche 911 in a drivers school at Hutchinson. Jim still has my husband's old TR-4 which he started racing about the time this photo was taken.
This is my husband's car at the SCCA Daytona Runoffs in 1967 where it was driven by "Red" Stanford of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Red drove the car in SCCA races for a while while John was in Saigon "on holiday". We met when he got back. My brother-in-law, Jim, has owned the car since the '70s.
Here's Jim and Jeri in the 70s with the TR -4 and our old "Barge" tow car (on left) which he also wound up with, probably a driver's school/regional at Hutchinson by the looks of that "X".
